Updates and a Reminder

Happy Independence Day! I haven’t been able to post here since October 2020 (!) because unfortunately school kind of took over my life. But, I’m excited to say that I turned in my last assignment a couple of weeks ago! So this is to say I’m back and excited to see what the Lord does through this effort! I’m about the farthest thing from Charismatic, but there’s a certain pull on my conscience that seems to form when I haven’t written in a while. I had a nice long break and now it’s back. So for those who enjoy Brendan’s Bites, I pray that it will make a resurgence in the coming months to God’s glory. I have several topics in mind, including the misuse of Jesus’ “judge not” command, the biblical concept of partiality (and how it does or does not relate to postmodern ideals of fairness and “-isms”), the necessity of a philosophy of ministry in one’s life, and the parallels between Romans 1 and our society. Stay tuned! For now, I leave you with something I wrote last year on the 4th of July that remains increasingly relevant (unfortunately) as people continue to forget what America is. Thanks for reading!
